I'm poised, by the way, to BOMBARD you with "Who's winning the cricket" comments during the upcoming Ashes series bate. Just to warn you in advance.

Although from what I've heard (not that I give two hoots really), England's team is missing Jones (a good bowler? with a welsh name), Vaughan (Frankie)(DEID) and now Trescothic (made-up name) so they will lose.

Got sky yet? Or wul you be spending the next month or however long it lasts, 'downt' pub?

MY prognostic Asian amazes me also...!
We kidnapped the swarthy little get from Uzbekistan last month, hoping that he'd come in handy when we start predicting the 6Nations games.
He amazes me because he's still alive - We've kept him locked up under the stairs, only feeding him air biscuits and toilet water...

Nah, haven't sorted out Sky yet. There is a highlights package on terrestrial TV, so I may have to make do with that. Watching it all live would involve not sleeping between late November and early January, as well, which could be a bit of a problem.

Jones and Vaughan being out is a big blow; not so sure about Trescothick as he hasn't made any runs lately anyway. I think it could still go either way, but the stinking convicts must be heavy favourites. Bring it on....
