Just a test post, really, but I feel obliged to offer some words over and above "testing 1,2,3" or the like. It's still not Alexander Pope, but then who is? Well, Alexander Pope, for one, but his output has dropped off quite sharply in the last, oh, 262 years or so. Don't bother checking my maths, by the way, it's right.
Stay tuned for great cyber-feats of extreme bloggery in future. Right now I have to go and attend to some real-world tasks.....

of course if I was to come back and read this blog in a year's time, then your maths would be wrong. Or at least it would appear wrong to somebody who didn't read the date of the blog. Or something. Maybe you ought to embed a bit of script [yearssincepopesdeath.php] ...
Oh, and change your "who can comment" settings. I had to create a blog just so I could leave this pointless rambling.
